Elaine & Cocoon was founded with a simple wish — to bring a sense of ease, comfort, and beauty into everyday life.
Founded by two sisters whose lives unfolded across cultures, the brand reflects a shared sensibility shaped between East and West. Though distance later placed them in different parts of the world, their connection remained grounded in care, ritual, and a deep appreciation for everyday comfort.
When one sister settled in Zurich, a silk filled duvet sent from home became a quiet anchor. More than an object, it was a reminder that home is not a place, but a feeling created through care, touch, and intention.
From that feeling, Elaine & Cocoon was born.
Together, the sisters set out to create bedding that reflects their values — thoughtfully sourced, beautifully made, and designed to restore, revive, and inspire rest.
Why “Cocoon”?

At Elaine & Cocoon, we bring together heritage of Eastern silk with the quiet elegance of Western design. Using pure mulberry silk and mindful design, we create more than luxury bedding — we create a way of living that feels grounded, serene, and deeply personal.
Our Partners and Standards
We work directly with our suppliers in China, from choosing the silk filling and fabrics to shaping designs that suit the Swiss market. This hands-on collaboration allows us to understand every step of the process and ensure that each piece reflects the care and intention behind Elaine & Cocoon.
Our suppliers are all family owned businesses. Our silk duvet partner grows their own mulberry trees, caring for the entire journey from leaf to finished duvet. Our bedding supplier is now led by its second generation, a heritage that speaks to dedication, and the quiet mastery that can only be passed down through time. These values mirror our own, which is why these partnerships are important to us.
We also make sure that every partner we work with operates in a respectful and ethical way. The people behind our products matter to us, and their well being is part of the care we put into everything we create.
Every material we use is selected to exceed European standards and regulations, supported by certified laboratory testing. For us, quality begins long before the bedding reaches your home. It begins with the people who make it, the materials they use, and the shared belief that true comfort is built with honesty and care. Our cotton fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, reflecting our commitment to materials that are carefully tested and suitable for everyday comfort.
